Riding with Cosimo - Spoke cycling tours from Florence, Italy
Welcome to Riding with Cosimo, a source for guided cycling tours starting in Florence, Italy.
I am Mark Collins, and I have ridden extensively in the area for over 12 years. My wife and I recently re-located to Florence to be with our daughter, her husband, and our two grandchildren. I would like to take you, along with a friend or a small group, out to cycle in the area. We will start in Florence, and I will customize the ride for everyone's ability level as we go. I will meet you at your hotel at the time you request, and off we go.
Riding the area provides one the opportunity to see the "real" Tuscany, which you might not see otherwise. Enjoy small towns, a gelato, a pannini, or cappuccino at a local bar.
You will need to come to Florence with your bike or let me know, and I will help with a rental here. You will need to bring your helmet, shoes, and appropriate cycling gear with you. Let's ride!
While guiding some friends riding here, I showed them a sculpture of Cosimo the First, one of the Medici who really consolidated the family's power in the 16th century. My friends gave me the nickname of Cosimo, hence, riding with Cosimo.
